Issan Appeal.
Poo Gan is a 2 year old little girl living with her parents in the
North of  Thailand in Issan. Nothing unusal in that you may say, but,
when  Poo Gan was 8 months old she stumbled and fell headlong into
the family fire.
They rushed their daughter to the hospital. The burns were so bad
that the hospital had to put Poo Gan with her mother into isolation
for 4 weeks.
The parents found someone to lend them the money so Poo Gan
could have the treatment she badly needed.  
Peter Rottmann the Charity Club of Pattaya’s representative in
that area contacted the club and asked if they could help.
The first thing The Charity Club did was clear the debt for
the isolation period and her treatments, and, they have also
agreed to cover all her future hospital costs.
Since then Poo Gan has had her first operation in Buriram to
help correct the scarring on her hands, and, has been to Bangkok
to see a plastic surgeon for her face and body. The doctor
was very optomistic that with the surgery she will make a very
good recovery and her skin “should" be fine as she gets older.
The treatments will be done over a minimum two year period,
so, this little girl has a lot of pain coming her way over the
next couple of years.
As you can see she was a beautiful little girl and with help
the Charity Club of Pattaya are dedicated to helping her
in everyway possible to get back that wonderful smile.

The Charity Club of Pattaya not only have Poo Gan to look
after in the Issan area, they have many other projects ongoing ie;
repairing school roofs, homes, feeding children with special
dietry needs, caring for the disabled both children and elderly,
children with HIV/AIDS, arranging to have limbs fitted and
