On Sunday 17th February we met with Steve Butcher from the Jaidee Appeal, who along with Alan Lewis raise money for the Children with HIV/AIDS at the Camillian Centre in Rayong.
As you may recall from the last newsletter we auctioned off the left over prizes from the Charity Gala Dinner at Kevin Fisher’s birthday party. The total raised was 52,000 baht which, with Kevin we presented to Steve.
The second presentation was to the Free Masons, Lodge Pattaya West Winds. The Grand Worshipful Master Mike Johnstone came along with many of the Masons, including R.S.M Middy Campbell who whipped us into shape for the line up for the photograph! They came to collect their money from the Gala Dinner, which totalled 156,666.
The Masons chose two Charities this year which they will support with the money, The Camillian Centre and The Ruamkanpattana Foundation in Chiang Mai which is a home for Orphaned Children.
